Wilma's printing career began in the Royal Air Force - HQ Signals Command. Later she emigrated to U.S.
and worked in the newspaper and commercial sectors before accepting a position with the U.S. Federal
Government in 1980. As Manager of the Publications Dept., in the Office of Data Systems at the Supreme
Court of the United States, she currently directs the production publishing of U.S. reports and related
products plus all other in-plant printing, Print-on-Demand, data conversion and electronic product

She pioneered the reengineering of the Court's production dept. to digital technologies early on.
Recently the Court's "In-Plant Printshop" has been renovated under her leadership. Her technical staff are
well-trained; many have risen to a consultant-level through the training opportunities she sought out and
secured funding for, ensuring a continuing high level of service delivery for the Court's products and a
high motivation factor for these support staff. High-profile cases like Bush vs. Gore which come before the
Court - are handled efficiently as are life/death cases, specialty and routine book/job publishing.
