Election Year 2010 Nominations and election to be conducted electronically Sept. 13 (Monday) Nominations open - email submissions. (Notification letter distributed electronically.) Sept. 24 (Friday) Nominations close. Nominations must be received no later than 5:00 pm EDT. Nominating period 12 days. Sept. 27(Monday) Elections officially open (electronic distribution of ballots). Election period 16 days. Oct. 12 (Tuesday) Elections officially close (last day for receiving completed electronic ballots). Completed ballots must be received no later than 5:00 pm, EDT. Oct. 15 (Friday) Proposed meeting date MAR Meeting; election results announced. Special election to fill vacant position(s), if any. Oct. 18 (Monday) Election results posted on the MAR Website and Xplor HQ notified. Nov. 15 (Monday) Newly elected officer's terms begin.
